NINE FINGER WRENCHING
on YouTube
Thanks for checking out NINE FINGER WRENCHING.
How NFW got started.
I’ve always been a guy that likes to work with his hands. From building houses and working on bicycles to just fixing stuff I broke. In 2020, when we all found ourselves with lots of time at home, I found myself watching guys repair old PWC’s on YouTube. Next thing you know, I found one on FB Marketplace and brought it home. My wife was so proud (insert mischievous smile here - haha). Having never worked on motors, I began researching and teaching myself how to restore the heap of junk I purchased.
Years later, I’ve worked on numerous PWC’s. After restoring mine, other people started contacting me to fix theirs. I wanted to share the things I’ve learned and the fun I have with others.
I wanted to start a YouTube channel for a while, but then I had a setback in January 2022 when I found out I had a rare, aggressive form of cancer, Digital Papillary Adenocarcinoma, that resulted in amputation of my right index finger.
After I recovered from the amputation, I had to find new ways to do the things I do. Throwing darts, removing jar lids, signing my name, using screw drivers….every task is done a little different.
And
NINE FINGER WRENCHING was born!
I hope I can inspire others to keep on doing the things they do and share a little bit of knowledge along the way.
